Rhytidectomy: Facelift & Necklift

Aging is inevitable. But, you can indeed minimize its effects. Face and neck lifts are the ultimate procedures for rejuvenating your face, recapturing the appearance of youth and reversing the signs of age. Dr. Dhir is a double-board certified facial plastic & reconstructive surgeon with extensive experience in rhytidectomy (facelifts).

Ensure Your Successful Facelift & Necklift

Rhytidectomy has become the third most desired facial plastic surgical procedure for patients about 40-50 years old. Contrary to many popular conceptions about the procedure and its results, a proper facelift should not appear unnatural, or “wind-blown”. Instead, the procedure focuses on specific problematic areas: neck, jowls, jawline and wrinkles in certain locations to provide an elegant result.

A successful facelift & necklift should feature the following three components.

A successful facelift will lift the mid-face and neck, thus restoring volume in aesthetically pleasing areas such as the cheek region. A successful procedure also will improve the appearance of drooping cheeks, hollowness under the eyes and prominent laugh lines by removing excess skin. The scars are hidden and camouflaged around the ear.

Overall, the goal of the procedure is not to make you look entirely different. Rather, it’s a way to make you look rejuvenated and refreshed. Dr. Dhir understands the importance of social relationships, status, network and the need to maintain one’s essence. A successful rhytidectomy procedure will help you look more youthful and maintain a natural appearance when performed correctly. Dr. Dhir is a board certified facial plastic & reconstructive surgeon trained in the art of natural face lifting techniques.

    • Avoid a “Wind-blown” appearance

    • Avoid Volumizing incorrect regions of the face to maintain a natural result
